Billing Policy

Official Hourly Billing Policy

To ensure transparency and consistency for all clients of International Web Marketers and our affiliated brands (including The Buzz CRM), this policy outlines how hourly work is billed, scheduled, and documented.

Standard Hourly Rate

Our standard rate is:

$150 per hour, per team member, billed in quarter-hour (15-minute) increments.

Some clients have a grandfathered rate. If you're unsure, please confirm with us before work begins.

Senior Developer / Custom Code Rate

Any work requiring a Senior Developer, including:

• Custom code
• Web apps
• API integrations
• Backend systems
• Advanced CRM automation architecture
• Complex troubleshooting
• Custom application deployment

is billed at:

$250 per hour, per Senior Developer, billed in 15-minute increments.

Custom Web Development Not Included in Package Hours

Custom web development, custom applications, and any Senior Developer work are not included in any "included hours" provided within Buzz CRM subscription packages.

These tasks are always billed separately at their respective hourly rates.

What Counts as Hourly Work

Hourly billing applies to all work outside the scope of your subscription package or project agreement, including:

• Custom development and web application construction
• Website builds, rebuilds, and custom coding
• CRM integrations and advanced automation design
• Debugging, testing, and technical diagnostics
• Strategy or consulting not covered under a retainer
• Expedited or time-sensitive tasks
• Multi-team-member tasks required to meet deadlines

All hourly work requires written approval unless already authorized under an active agreement.

Debugging & Technical Troubleshooting

Debugging and troubleshooting are standard parts of development and are billable at the applicable hourly rate.

Rates for After Hours, Weekends, and Holidays

These multipliers apply to all billable resources, including Senior Developers:

When Multiple Team Members Are Needed

If multiple resources are required, each is billed individually.

Examples:

• 2 standard team members during regular hours: $300/hr
• 1 standard + 1 Senior Developer on a weekend: $225 + $375 = $600/hr
• 2 Senior Developers on a holiday: $1,000/hr

Non-Billable Opportunity Calls

Clients are never billed for what we refer to as "Opportunity Calls." These calls are non-strategic, exploratory conversations intended to explain potential courses of action, outline available options, or provide clarity on choices that may include additional cost.

Opportunity Calls are simply discussions to help you understand your options before deciding on work. They are not considered deliverable work, project execution, or strategic planning.

Only actual project work — tasks you have already approved and are aware we are actively executing — is billable.

Scheduling Requirements

• After-hours and weekend work should be scheduled in advance
• Holiday work must be requested early
• Emergency or rush requests may incur additional fees
• Availability is always confirmed prior to any work beginning

Billing & Payment

• Hourly work is billed weekly or upon task completion
• Invoices are due upon receipt
• Work may pause on overdue accounts
• All hourly items appear with full detail on your invoice

Transparency & Documentation

Your twice-monthly invoice includes detailed breakdowns of:

• Tasks performed
• By whom
• Time spent (in 15-minute increments)

This ensures complete transparency into all billable activity.
